Hold Your Horses Summer Camp

Hold Your Horses Summer Camp enjoys hosting summer horseback riding camps for kids age 7 to and up. Campers experience excitement and joy arriving for their camp week! Our goal for camp is for everyone to have fun and learn in a safe environment. Each camp day has horse riding lessons lessons in horsemanship, basic horse care, safety and daily riding. Fun camp activities such as arts and crafts, games and scavenger hunts add to the fun! No more than 8 campers per session.

At week’s end, the campers are able to show what they learned.

Campers are placed in their lessons based on age and riding experience. It’s perfect for horse-crazy kids ages 7 and older, who get hands-on instruction on how to care for and ride horses.

Camp hours- Friday- Sunday, 8:30 AM- 3 PM

Previous riding experience is not necessary

We have an exciting indoor facility for those rainy days and hot afternoons to entertain and have fun, activities include

What your camper needs to bring

Lunch and drinks for the day (or money for bottled water or soft drinks $.50 each)
Afternoon Snack
Sunscreen
Swimsuit
Shorts plus riding clothing (long pants to change into), closed toe shoes; boots are recommended
Helmet – required for all riders. If you do not have one, we will provide one.
